IT Solution Provider Reports Record Increase in New Contracts as Services Expand
TORONTO, Ontario and New York, NY: OnX Enterprise Solutions, a leading global enterprise data center IT Solutions Provider, today announced a second straight quarter of significant growth and expansion of services in FY 2013. The OnX Cloud and Managed Services division reported record sales and client acquisition in Q1, and has seen the expansion continue into Q2, recognizing over $13 million in new contracts, an increase of 30 percent over Q1 results. The company attributes its success to the advancing interest in cloud computing, for which OnX provides a number of IT solutions, including the new Application Performance Testing-as-a-Service (TaaS) and SharePoint in the Cloud.

OnX reports that organizations are exploring hybrid solutions to meet multiple business needs ranging from dedicated private hosting, private cloud computing and virtual data center cloud. It is largely dependent on the applications that clients are operating.

OnX’s TaaS offers companies the ability to test their applications in the cloud before deployment. Application Performance Testing on the OnX Cloud allows companies to access compute resources to stress test important applications and measure capacity for the volume of users at any one time, as well as protect against downtime due to malicious attacks. In addition, TaaS provisions the capability to measure bottle-neck points through the transaction cycle, to pin-point exactly where performance degradation is being realized. By adjusting the application to address the points that are causing issues, companies can increase the response time and overall user experience before deployment.
