Momentum and Client Awarded Ektron Global Site of the Year

Partnership Recognized with Ektron Global Conference’s Highest Honour

TORONTO, Ontario: Momentum Digital Solutions, a leading digital experience service provider, and its client Mercedes-Benz Canada, today announced that they have been recognized with two awards from Ektron’s recent global conference. Designated as the Conference’s highest honour, the Ektron Site of the Year Award honours Momentum and Mercedes-Benz Canada’s creation of a dealer web platform that has both visual and experiential flair, with a forward-thinking approach. In addition, this award also honours Momentum and Mercedes-Benz Canada’s commitment to an engaging experience across all devices and customer channels.

“We are thrilled that the Mercedes-Benz Canada dealer website platform was recognized by Ektron as the Innovation Site of the Year, and that it has won the Global Site of the Year Award, which is extremely exciting for our team,” noted Lasse Silegren, President of Momentum. “These two awards are indicative of the rewards that come from working with a great client like Mercedes-Benz Canada and its dealership network.”

The program launch included a number of elements that needed to be taken into consideration over the duration of the build, which took over a year to complete. It involved integration with multiple third party vendors that support Mercedes-Benz Canada in areas such as inventory, assets availability, and content management. Attention also needed to be paid to the support of all the local dealerships that require a consistent experience for their clients on desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.

“When we first set out to redevelop our national dealer digital program, our management team looked at a number of tools to execute our next round of initiatives,” said Kelly Seawright, Interactive Marketing Supervisor, Mercedes-Benz Canada. “Based on recommendations from our partner Momentum, Ektron seemed like the best and most logical choice. We now have 53 well-configured dealer websites. We’re confident that our future planning efforts are now supported by a solid foundation.”
