Managed Application Services (MAS)

OnX offers a Managed Application Services / Outsourcing Program that allows the customer to “eXtend their enterprise support”. This value added service allows our customers to ensure quick, orderly and appropriate responses to any immediate changes or production problems that can not be supported by the regular development resources.

OnX Managed Application Services (MAS) provides for the ongoing maintenance and/or enhancement of production systems. OnX offers two types of application support programs to support your business scenarios:

Standard Application Support and Maintenance Services

  • 24x7x365 service request call logging and escalation helpdesk support
  • Second and Third Level application support
    • Problem determination, isolation and resolution support
    • Co-ordination and interaction with third party vendor support
    • Application code fix support
  • Minor and major application modifications or enhancements
  • Software upgrades, release management and planning

Enhanced Application Support and Maintenance Services

  • Includes all the services provided by the Standard Application Support and Maintenance Services program, with the addition of
  • Application administration
  • Batch job management and scheduled review of application logs
  • Release and patch deployment, and change control managment
  • Proactive maintenance activities for middleware and application layer
  • Application performance tuning and capacity planning
  • Application operational support and monitoring services for production applications which can also be provided in combination with OnX’s Managed Hosting Services.

OnX Managed Application Services will provide support for customized Commercial Off The Shelf applications as well as custom applications, providing for deep technical assistance as needed.

OnX Managed Application Services are available for two service levels depending upon your needs:

Commercial Managed Application Services

  • provides customers with application support services for non-critical systems during regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, excluding statutory holidays).

Enterprise Managed Application Services

  • provides customers with application support services and response for business critical systems 24x7x365 via On-Call Support Engineers.
